Shine Ger Kindergarten
Holistic nurturing of the Mind, Body and Heart since 2004

Shine Ger Kindergarten

Educating Happy Learners Since 2004

Shine Ger Kindergarten is a warm and creative early childhood center where children are encouraged to explore, express, and grow at their own pace. Established in 2004 and restructured in 2022, Shine Ger is proud to be part of a new generation of kindergartens in Mongolia—one that honors both tradition and innovation.

Our educational philosophy

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which sees children as curious, capable, and full of potential. We believe learning is most powerful when it’s led by the child, nurtured by relationships, and rooted in real-world experiences.

At Shine Ger, children don’t just attend kindergarten—they become happy learners for life. We foster independence, empathy, creativity, and confidence through hands-on activities, strong teacher-child connections, and meaningful engagement with the world around them.

Our Vision

To raise a generation of open-minded, emotionally strong, and globally aware children — grounded in respect, creativity, and a deep appreciation for culture and community.

Our Values

  1. Creativity

  2. Respect

  3. Growth & Resilience

  4. Compassion

  5. Cultural Pride & Diversity

Community Engagement

We see families as essential partners in education. Our kindergarten is a community-oriented space where collaboration, open communication, and shared values create a supportive environment for every child’s journey. Whether it’s through seasonal celebrations, parent workshops, or everyday conversations, we value the deep and lasting relationships that connect home and school.

What Parents Say

One more thing which my daughter loved was food. The homemade and delicious food is provided to children every day. Therefore Sundei still loves Mongolian food. She had a big smile on her every day, so I was also able to let her go at ease. Also, I get a chance to see what kind of books were read to children and how they were read at “Shine Ger”. Because I work in the research and translation of children’s literature, when I visited the kindergarten, the children were getting ready for their morning routine of “Circle time” where teachers read a book every morning. The teacher read the book titled “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” which is a world-famous picture book by Eric Carle. It is English book, but Mongolian language is used in the picture.
